Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Regional Service Manager for a well-established residential home services organization. This onsite role is based in Grand Rapids, MI and leads teams across sales, service, installation, warehouse, fleet, call center and dispatch.

You will use performance metrics and business insights to drive operational excellence, strengthen teams, and identify growth opportunities, reporting to the CEO in a strategic service-operations capacity.

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Regional Service Manager for a well-established and growing residential home services organization. This is an onsite position based in Grand Rapids, MI.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Regional Service Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across a multi-site residential home services organization, overseeing teams across sales, service, installation, warehouse, fleet, call center, and dispatch. This leader will use performance metrics and business insights to drive operational excellence, strengthen team performance, improve customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will play a key role in strategic decision-making and the continued development of the organization’s service operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, develop, and motivate managers and associates across multiple geographic locations and business functions.
• Oversee operational performance across sales, service, installation, warehouse, fleet, call center, and dispatch, ensuring revenue and margin targets are achieved.
• Partner with finance and executive leadership to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives.
• Establish and utilize KPIs and customer satisfaction metrics to assess performance, coach teams, and improve service delivery and repeat business.
• Build individual and team capabilities through mentorship, coaching, training, and leadership development while fostering a healthy and engaged work environment.
• Ensure staffing levels align with customer demand, including planning for seasonal fluctuations and supporting ongoing operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated managerial leadership experience, preferably within residential trade services such as HVAC, home comfort, plumbing, or a related service environment.
• Strong formal and informal leadership skills with the ability to mentor managers and coach technicians and team members across varying skill levels.
• Proven ability to use KPIs, operational metrics, and business performance data to drive accountability and results.
• Self-starter with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and team development capabilities.
• Experience with ServiceTitan or FieldEdge is a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• The anticipated base salary for this position is $150,000-$165,000, plus a yearly bonus.
