Job summary

LPU Batangas seeks an intern to directly supervise a small warehouse team and help manage key metrics like safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will work with operations to apply lean practices, establish procedures, and monitor progress while enforcing policies and safety rules.

You will also review performance, communicate updates to leadership, and engage staff through regular meetings and development opportunities during the internship period.

Qualifications

• Permanent US work authorization required.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in a related field.
• GPA 3.0 or greater.
• Available to work 40+ hours weekly from May–Aug 2027.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proven problem-solving and diplomatic conflict resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small team of warehouse associates.
• Manage Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics.
• Collaborate with operations to apply lean improvements and implement changes.
• Set procedures and assign duties to meet production schedules.
• Monitor work for compliance and progress.
• Explain company policies to staff.
• Enforce plant safety rules and review performance with upper management.
• Lead regular meetings and boost employee engagement.
