Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager for our New Berlin, WI location. This full-time role will support multiple location operations, oversee drivers and inventory staff, and help ensure accurate order fulfillment within budgeted KPI targets.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years in operations/logistics with supervisory experience. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain high service levels and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in operations, logistics, or distribution environment, with supervisory exposure.
• Knowledge of distribution and warehousing processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with DOT rules and safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing drivers, inventory specialists, and receiving associates.
• Support safety, staffing, inventory, shipping/receiving, and customer service to meet KPI targets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, HR, and Corporate Operations to maintain a profitable service model.
• Lead continuous improvement in quality, processes, and asset management.
