Job summary

Albemarle is seeking an Operations Logistics Manager to oversee the efficient operation of accounts, including P&L responsibility, customer satisfaction, compliance, and safety. The role requires leading teams, coordinating with management and customers, and optimizing logistics operations.

Responsibilities include payroll, performance management, vendor quotes, and safety training. A bachelor's in a relevant field is preferred and multiple shifts with a flexible schedule may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • 3+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
  • 2+ years of direct reports management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage performance of salaried and hourly employees and ensure policy compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior management and customers to meet needs and expectations.
  • Handle payroll for employees.
  • Analyze weekly/monthly P&L and report to senior management.
  • Manage accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
  • Lead safety meetings and ensure safety regulations compliance.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling on various shifts.

Operations Logistics Manager – Concord, NC

Pay Type: Exempt – Salary paid twice per month. Annual Salary: $70,000 – $75,000. Annual Bonus Incentive: Up to 10% or more of salary per year. Schedule: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–4:00pm.

Job Summary

The Manager Logistics is responsible for managing all activities associated with the efficient operation of accounts, including P&L responsibility, customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage performance of salaried and hourly employees, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and expectations and operate accounts to meet those demands.
  • Handle payroll for employees.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statements to determine account profitability and provide financial data and weekly operations reports to senior management.
  • Manage accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.
  • Hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Be available to work on a flexible schedule on various shifts.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience managing and leading direct reports.
  • Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations (advanced required).
  • Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements (advanced required).
