Job summary

Ryder System in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the operation of accounts with P&L responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

You will manage salaried and hourly staff, collaborate with leadership and customers, oversee payroll, analyze profitability, manage accounts payable and invoicing, and drive safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Three+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
• Two+ years managing and leading direct reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word).
• Excellent knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations.
• Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred; French for Quebec locations only.

We are immediately hiring a Warehouse Manager for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

Compensation

• Annual Salary: $80,000 - $90,000/yr (Exempt / Salary, paid twice per month)
• Annual Bonus: Up to 10% of base salary

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday, with flexibility to work rotational Saturdays
• Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Job Summary

The Manager Logistics is responsible for managing all activities associated with the efficient operation of accounts, including P&L responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance of salaried and hourly employees, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and expectations, operating accounts to meet those demands.
• Handle payroll of employees.
• Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statements to determine account profitability, and provide financial data and weekly operations reports to senior management.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.
• Hold safety & security meetings, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule on various shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field.
• Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word required).
• Excellent knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations (advanced).
• Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements (advanced).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and schedule tasks.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred. Bilingual English and French for Quebec locations only.
