Job summary

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, offers a 20-week Management Training Program where you train to become an Operations Supervisor. The program spans service centers nationwide and includes exposure to inbound, outbound, city, and DC operations, as well as account management.

Participants learn safety, maintenance, and transportation procedures, then transition to a supervising role across 240+ facilities in the continental US. Relocation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
• Willingness to relocate is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks to workers per unloading/loading schedules.
• Coordinate work and monitor performance.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure a safe, clean working environment for personnel and customers.
• Foster safe handling of hazardous materials.
