Tyson Foods is seeking an Operations Management Trainee to support day-to-day production and operational performance. This developmental role uses data analysis and cross-functional teamwork to identify opportunities and drive improvements.

It builds foundational leadership capability for future supervisor positions. The role exposes you to staffing planning, productivity, safety and quality improvements, with opportunities to lead projects and coordinate work across departments.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate’s degree or higher in related field or equivalent practical experience (1 year).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Agriculture, Animal Science or Food Science.
• Exposure to production, manufacturing environments through work, internships, or school projects.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance results to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Recommend improvements in safety, quality, yield and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and propose solutions.
• Partner with HR, Maintenance, FSQA, and Accounting teams.
• Lead teams or processes as needed and support supervision with data.
• Monitor compliance and escalation risks; plan staffing and resources.
