Trainees will learn to manage shifts and departments while emphasizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

The program includes CDL training and progression toward supervisory roles. Participants gain exposure to AS400, Workday, and continuous improvement projects, with mentorship from industry experts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of Word and Excel; AS400 background helpful.

Responsibilities

• Complete shift manager training as an understudy with an experienced manager or supervisor.
• Learn forklift operations and production tasks on all service-center jobs.
• Participate in OD Truck Driving Training program to obtain CDL license.
• Fill in as a supervisor on various shifts and departments.
• Develop new indicators and implement process changes across departments.
• Work in AS400 to move freight and maintain performance records.
• Use Workday to update payroll and employee information.
• Write and submit monthly activity reports.
• Assign work to employees per daily schedule and adjust as needed.
• Inspect tools/equipment for safe operation and address issues.
• Travel approximately 15% to other service centers for learning and supervision.
