Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Operations Management Trainee for a 12-month rotational program designed for candidates with limited LTL or transportation ops experience.

You’ll rotate across field operations, linehaul, maintenance, and support, gaining hands-on leadership exposure on the dock. You’ll build CDL and forklift credentials, complete a capstone project, and contribute to real-world improvements while earning competitive pay and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience required.
• High stamina, adaptability and grit; daily challenges on operational demands.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willing to relocate within region after program completion.
• Preferred leadership experience through internships or projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 12-month Management Training operations rotational program across major functions.
• Work on a dock alongside frontline teams in a demanding environment.
• Complete CDL and forklift certification during the program.
• Learn foundational functions of each rotational assignment.
• Complete leadership training to prepare for frontline leadership.
• Collaborate with supervisors, dockworkers and field leaders for hands-on experience.
• Report progress to the program manager and mentor weekly.
• Meet learning objectives and milestones throughout the program.
• Take initiative to learn operations through study and hands-on work.
