Job summary

Palmer-Donavin is launching its Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP), a full-time rotational experience designed to prepare the next generation of leaders. You will gain hands-on exposure across distribution, manufacturing, and corporate operations while traveling and potentially relocating within the Midwest and Southeast.

The program emphasizes across-the-board operation mastery and concludes with presenting recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or current completion in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in operations leadership.
Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including mid-shift and night shifts, and to travel/relocate as needed.
Prior internship, co-op, or related experience in operations or logistics is a plus; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Execute daily operational processes within distribution centers and manufacturing, including receiving, picking, loading, and inventory control.
Observe mid-shift and night-shift operations to gain exposure to 24-hour environments.
Supervise front-line associates during rotations, manage tasks, track productivity, and enforce safety.
Analyze KPIs, reports, and dashboards to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Lead a capstone project and present findings to senior leadership.
