Job summary

RTX Corporation, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking candidates for its two-year Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) in Materials Management. The program offers three 8-month rotations across U.S.

locations, with on-site assignments and extensive training. You will build hands-on experience in materials planning, execution, demand management, and logistics, while receiving mentoring and exposure to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree completed by start date.
  • Willing to relocate to various RTX locations in the U.S. for three 8-month assignments.
  • Experience presenting or communicating technical/operational data to stakeholders or leading teams.
  • Internship/co-op or work experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Complete three 8-month rotational assignments across various U.S. locations.
  • Execute core duties within Materials Planning, Execution, Demand Management, and Logistics.
  • Communicate cross-functionally with engineering, global supply chain, contractors, logistics personnel, and business programs.
  • Present key deliverables and metrics during weekly executive calls and MRPs reviews.
  • Lead projects focused on cost reduction, inventory optimization, and ERP integration (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
  • Manage MRP signals and Reorder Point logic within planning architectures.
  • Identify shop floor improvements to reduce waste and costs.
  • Coordinate material flow across the assembly floor maintaining 6S standards.
