Job summary

RRD is seeking candidates for its Associate - Operations-Leadership program in Durham, NC. This full-time, twelve-month training track prepares you for an operational leadership role across our manufacturing facilities in the United States.

The program follows a cohort model with February 2027 start in Durham. You will rotate through core plant functions, shadow positions, and assist Plant Leaders while gaining hands-on exposure to printing and production processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, IT, marketing, finance or related fields, or equivalent work experience required.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Prior internship in a manufacturing company/environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of the printing process is a plus.
• Motivated to succeed; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of basic business practices; high energy and strong work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; self-confident.
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn production rotations and six core plant functions: manufacturing, logistics, operations, administration, HR, and finance.
• Shadow roles during rotations and perform in those roles during the program.
• Assist Plant Leaders in daily operations and participate in plant meetings.
• Read industry publications to deepen printing and manufacturing knowledge.
• Support continuous learning opportunities and development activities.
