POOLCORP is seeking an Operations Manager in Fort Lauderdale, FL to lead warehouse staff and oversee product procurement for sales and distribution. The role emphasizes inventory control, vendor coordination, and process optimization to support a high-volume wholesale environment.

Applicants should have 3-5 years of operations experience in a warehouse setting, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and inventory software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of operations experience in industrial distribution or warehouse environment.
• Experience managing a team of 5+ employees.
• Computer skills including MS Office and Inventory Management software.
• Knowledge of industrial product lines such as pool and spa equipment or similar items is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities involved with procuring products for sales and distribution.
• Hires, trains, directs and manages warehouse staff.
• Reviews orders, purchase orders, vendor claims and transfers.
• Manages inventory, stock levels and cycle counts.
• Reviews freight invoices and manages accounts payable discrepancies.
• Supervises order routing, loading and shipment preparation.
• Trains new employees on warehouse procedures.
