Job summary

WD Wright Contracting in Greenville, SC seeks an Operations Manager to ensure traffic control services are reliable, on-time, well trained, and safe for an organized operation.

The role oversees the office and field teams, conducts trainings, and reports to the Regional Manager, while maintaining client relations, safety compliance, and efficient use of resources. Willing to travel and manage 50/50 office/field duties.

Qualifications

• Construction Management experience preferred.
• Traffic Control Management preferred; experience managing crews or fleets in logistics/couriers a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Office 365 suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills providing guidance, direction, and assistance.
• Result-oriented and customer service resolution skills.
• LEAN/Kaizen, Operations Metrics and Operational Excellence knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complete written reports on deficiencies, incidents, and safety.
• Create and implement strategies to foster business growth.
• Oversee office and field staff.
• Audit sites with Field Supervisors to ensure compliance.
• Travel to clients within a 75-mile radius daily.
• Balance 50% time in office and 50% in the field.
• Conduct safety meetings and document personnel issues.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment inventories and office budgets.
