Job summary

WD Wright Contracting in Florida is seeking a Field Supervisor who will act as the operational liaison, overseeing communication, coaching, and support to traffic controllers in the field.

The role spends most time in the field with some office work, reports to the Operations Manager, and offers growth opportunities, a starting wage of $18.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong verbal communication required; professional demeanor
• Experience leading and supervising a team preferred
• Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification preferred but not required; must obtain within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Plan job inspections routes
• Stock vehicles with signs, equipment, and supplies
• Travel to job sites and inspect for safety and quality violations
• Complete and submit field inspection paperwork
• Be proficient in all Crew Lead activities
• Document observations at job sites
• Ensure safety policies are followed at each site
• Coordinate client needs
• Back up coverage for evenings and weekends when needed
• Read Wright Safety Manual and Employee Handbook
• Additional duties as assigned
