Job summary

WD Wright Contracting in North Carolina is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee safety inspections and field operations. The role focuses on coaching and supporting Traffic Controllers, with a strong emphasis on communication and teamwork. The position is on-site with 90% field time and starts at $18.00 per hour.

You will report to the Operations Manager, supervise crew activities, ensure policy compliance, and coordinate with clients. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience leading and supervising a team.
• Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification preferred but not required; must obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan job inspections routes.
• Stock vehicles with signs, equipment, and supplies.
• Travel to job sites and inspect safety and quality violations.
• Complete and submit all proper paperwork for field inspections.
• Be proficient in all Crew Lead activities.
• Check job sites and document observations.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed at each site.
• Coordinate client needs and respond to emergencies as required.
• Maintain vehicles clean and in good working condition.
