Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking an Operations Manager in Hudson, WI to lead Front End, C-store/gas ops, facilities, scheduling, pricing, and LP. You will coach teams, drive development plans, and ensure staffing aligns with budgets while maximizing customer service.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5 years in a Big Box setting, and a proven ability to manage diverse teams, implement solutions, and adapt to change with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or related field.
• 5 years of management experience in a Big Box retailer preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Direct and motivate a diverse population of full- and part-time staff.
• Decisive with implementing solutions, planning, delegating tasks and adapting to change.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and mentor team to achieve best-in-class execution and customer service.
• Oversee development and execution of individual development plans for reports.
• Ensure proper staffing according to budget and maximize customer service.
• Hire, train, develop, and manage performance with HR oversight.
• Monitor wage and expense control programs.
• Identify budget variances and take corrective action with leadership.
• Oversee cash management policies, procedures, and practices.
• Administer Fleet Rewards Visa, Store Credit Card, and Loyalty Program.
• Provide guidance for customer-related issues as needed.
• Oversee shrink reduction efforts with Loss Prevention Lead.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty program and other company initiatives.
