Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking an Operations Manager to lead Front End Operations, Convenience/Gas, Facilities, Scheduling, Pricing, and Loss Prevention at a Minnesota store. You will hire, coach, and develop a diverse team, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement.

You will partner with HR and the General Manager to monitor variances, implement solutions, and maximize customer satisfaction while promoting loyalty programs and company initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business/marketing or related field.
• 5 years of management experience in a Big Box retailer or equivalent.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to direct and motivate a diverse team including full- and part-time workers.
• Decisive in implementing solutions, planning, delegating tasks, and adapting to change.
• Flexible schedule with open availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team to achieve Best in Class execution and customer service.
• Develop and monitor individual development plans for direct and indirect reports.
• Ensure proper staffing levels per budget and optimize for customer needs.
• Monitor wage and expense control programs; act on variances with HR.
• Oversee cash management policies and procedures.
• Lead loyalty programs, fleet rewards, and store credit initiatives.
• Provide guidance on customer issues and loss prevention efforts.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty and company initiatives.
