Job summary

Simplicity Consulting is seeking a Business Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across the consultant lifecycle and lead a high-performing Business Operations team. You will oversee onboarding, financial operations, compliance, and process improvements to ensure top-tier service delivery for clients and consultants.

The role emphasizes scalable processes, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership of operations staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive operations experience with leadership or people management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
• Proven success developing and leading process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review and audit of existing operational frameworks, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement and developing scalable processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Maintain and support a book of business to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding, financial processing, equipment coordination, and operational support.
• Oversee the accuracy and integrity of consultant records in the Applicant Tracking System by ensuring timely updates to statuses, notes, and required documentation.
• Create and/or review and edit statements of work to ensure quality assurance prior to contracts to clients.
• Develop and execute onboarding plans for new client companies, including system setup, process documentation, workflow design, and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain understanding of client requirements to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
• Manage client audit requests by gathering documentation, validating data, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering timely responses.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex operational issues and drive timely resolution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance the client and consultant experience.
• Develop automation and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Lead, coach, and develop one or more Business Operations Coordinators through mentoring and performance management.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
