Job summary

NRI 3PL is seeking a Director of Operations to lead budget planning, people development, and client‑facing operations across multiple facilities. You will identify efficiencies, maximize profit and collaborate with Business Development to integrate new clients and grow existing relationships.

The ideal candidate will inspire teams, coach leaders, manage KPIs, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement through lean tools and effective resource planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience with 3PL or apparel/footwear pick and pack.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business or related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have physical ability to perform tasks (lift up to 50 lbs, etc.).
• Strong budget, forecasting and P&L awareness.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall facility performance via KPIs.
• Lead budgeting, staffing and process changes to meet client goals.
• Monitor expenditures and identify variances and improvements.
• Develop and mentor GMs and facility managers.
• Plan vacations and ensure proper coverage.
• Drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate new clients.
• Ensure safety, quality and throughput targets are met.
• Maintain client relationships and provide ROI analyses.
