Job summary

Fujitec America is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of field services, installations, and service projects. You will supervise staff, coordinate crews, and drive safety, quality, and on-time project delivery across multiple sites in the United States.

The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, vendor relationships, and the ability to review bids and manage labor and material costs while maintaining compliance with company procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in industry.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report, and forklift certification.
• Local Travel Expectations: 15%.

Responsibilities

• Administer company safety program, including safety audits and promoting safety to all employees.
• Plan, direct, and prioritize elevator installations and modernization, service/repairs, and labor needs; use scheduling tools.
• Manage staff, schedules, and review and approve payroll.
• Monitor use and assignment of vehicles.
• Review job status using accounting reports to identify risk and opportunity, reporting fade issues prior to revenue.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, elevator consultants, construction firms, and architects.
• Survey, review, and sign off on bids, attend pre-bid meetings, calculate labor and material costs.
• Review and sign off on change orders, purchase orders, and other approvals.
• Maintain familiarity with SOPs and products; interface with corporate departments.
