Job summary

Staffmark is hiring an Operations Manager for the Chatsworth, CA location. This role oversees warehouse operations, supports your team, and ensures products move safely, accurately, and efficiently through the supply chain.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to analyze processes and drive improvements. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 per year, with a typical daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's in business/management or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and business management systems.
• Professional communication, leadership, and organizational skills required.
• Experience in operations management or similar leadership role.
• Experience managing multiple departments and supervising teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Understanding of sales operations, shipping/logistics, customer service and HR functions.
• Experience preparing operational, productivity, and sales performance reports.
• Ability to analyze business challenges and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across Sales, Shipping & Logistics, HR, and Home Depot & Lowe's accounts.
• Manage and support department managers to achieve goals and standards.
• Monitor sales performance, departmental efficiency, and overall operations.
• Prepare and present weekly operational and sales reports to upper management.
• Oversee order processing and fulfillment for Home Depot and Lowe's customers.
• Support HR initiatives including performance management, staffing, and training.
• Identify challenges and implement solutions to improve performance.
• Develop internal procedures, workflows, and cross-department communication.
• Promote accountability, productivity, and timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with ownership on growth and strategic initiatives.
