Job summary

Performance Team in Stockton, CA is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee warehouse and production-related activities. You will manage multiple departments and lead a team of supervisors and 50+ staff to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 5 years in warehouse operations management, and experience in cold storage or fast-paced environments. Strong leadership and process improvement skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations management experience.
• Minimum 1 year of cold storage experience required.
• Experience in production-based/fast-paced environments is required.
• Warehouse performance management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides input to development of product strategy and R&D of new and emerging products.
• Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
• Provides guidance to development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
• Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions and suppliers to optimize production and utilization of resources.
• Reviews production and operating reports and directs resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems.
• Performs administrative activities associated with management of shop operations and data reporting.
• Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
• Trains and ensures assigned employees comply with company policies and regulations.
