Job summary

Convergint is seeking an Operations Manager to lead branch operations in Austin, TX. You will plan and oversee daily activities, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure timely contract execution while managing labor, subcontractors, invoicing, and collections.

The role requires 3–5 years in operations within electronic, fire alarm & life safety or building automation, with strong leadership and cost-control skills. A college degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operations experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety or building automation.
• Experience supervising projects or teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor staff and manage branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all branch operation activities.
• Qualify potential business and review proposals and bookings.
• Coach, train and develop the Operations team to improve skills.
• Ensure customer satisfaction on installed accounts and execution of contracts.
• Oversee labor and subcontractor management, scheduling, invoicing and collections.
