Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join our culture-driven team and help us grow as the company grows. You will oversee branch operations, coordinate planning, evaluate proposals, manage costs, and ensure on-time delivery while coaching staff and enhancing customer satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years of operations experience in electronic/building automation sectors, a college degree or equivalent, and strong leadership with proven project

Qualifications

• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years operations within electronic, fire alarm & life safety, or building automation.
• Previous project supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and coordinate planning and bookings.
• Coach, counsel and train operations staff to improve skills.
• Ensure customer satisfaction on all installed accounts.
• Oversee contract execution, cost reviews, and invoicing/collections.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Manage, oversee and coordinate all aspects of branch operation activities including, but not limited to, the following: operations planning, qualifying potential business, operational review of proposals and bookings.
• Coach, council and train the Operations force to improve individual skills.
• Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction on all installed accounts.
• Overall responsibility for execution of contracts - estimated cost vs. actual cost; review of contracts; supervision of labor and subcontractors; planning and scheduling contracts, preparation of invoices, and collections.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You'll Need

• Strong management skills related to Project Management.
• Leadership Orientation - Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the Operations Department; Strong team leadership, team building and facilitation skills.
• Strong financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years operations within the electronic, fire alarm & life safety, or building automation.

• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, or building automation
