Convergint is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join our culture-driven team in Tampa. You will manage branch operations, coach the operations staff, and ensure execution of contracts with a focus on cost control and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, project oversight, and financial acumen to drive growth and efficiency. You will collaborate across teams, supervise subcontractors, and contribute to an inclusive, safety-conscious environment while delivering

Formación

• 3–5 years of operations, service, field, or project management experience is required.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities within an operations team.
• Strong financial analytical skills including cost control.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, oversee and coordinate all branch operation activities including operations planning, qualifying potential business, and review of proposals and bookings.
• Coach, counsel and train the Operations team to improve skills.
• Ensure customer satisfaction on all installed accounts and oversee execution of contracts with cost control, scheduling, and invoicing.

• Manage, oversee and coordinate all aspects of branch operation activities including, but not limited to, the following: operations planning, qualifying potential business, operational review of proposals and bookings.
• Coach, council and train the Operations force to improve individual skills.
• Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction on all installed accounts.
• Overall responsibility for execution of contracts - estimated cost vs. actual cost; review of contracts; supervision of labor and subcontractors; planning and scheduling contracts, preparation of invoices, and collections.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You'll Need

• Strong management skills related to Project Management.
• Leadership Orientation - Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the Operations Department; Strong team leadership, team building and facilitation skills.
• Strong financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills.

Requirements

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years operations, service or field or project management

• Previous project supervisory

Preferred Experience: (but not required)

• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare
