AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Operations Manager to lead daily campus food service operations, ensuring quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. The role requires hands-on leadership, a minimum of 3 years in food service management, strong communication, and the ability to manage budgets with flexible scheduling on a university campus.

The ideal candidate will supervise staff, uphold sanitation standards, and drive excellent guest experiences across all shifts on a university campus

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management level food service production experience.
• Experience leading, supervising, training and coordinating others.
• Hands-on leadership approach with the business.
• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
• Flexible schedule capability.
• Previous management experience required.
• Ability to manage financials and achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily campus food service operations and ensure resources are available.
• Ensure compliance with company policies to deliver high service and quality.
• Supervise cash handling, audits, and safe fund management.
• Maintain production records (par levels, waste logs, temperature logs).
• Supervise team members and monitor safety and sanitation standards.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Manage inventory and budget, control costs, adjust as needed.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Enforce safety requirements at accounts (PPE, etc.).
