Job summary

Victory Capital is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a direct business operations team, ensuring high-volume workflows meet service levels and quality standards. You will own performance, staffing, and process improvements while collaborating with internal partners and vendors to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.

You will report to the Director of Operations and work in a fast-paced, regulated financial services environment, requiring strong judgment, independence, and ownership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in an operations management or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead teams to achieve business goals while maintaining high quality and compliance.
• Strong data analytics skills to interpret operational metrics and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Experience documenting, developing, and enhancing operational processes and procedures with a track record of driving improvements.
• Change management experience, including leading a team through significant process or system changes.
• Excellent oral and written communication with cross-functional collaboration.
• FINRA Series 65 required or must obtain within 1 year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and lead a team of operations representatives handling mutual fund account processing and servicing.
• Drive performance to meet efficiency, accuracy, and quality targets.
• Monitor outputs to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing and workload allocation; escalate risks as needed.
• Develop and implement process improvements and automation with Tech and Data teams.
• Maintain documentation of processes and procedures and close identified gaps.
• Handle escalations and issues within scope through resolution.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Technology and external vendors on initiatives.
