Job summary

Victory Capital Management is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a high-volume, detail-sensitive team responsible for mutual fund account processing and servicing. You will drive performance, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and partner with Compliance, Finance, Technology, and external vendors to deliver scalable solutions.

Strong analytics, communications, and change-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operations management or supervisory experience in financial services.
• Proven ability to lead teams to achieve goals with high quality and compliance.
• Strong data analytics to interpret operational metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Experience documenting and enhancing operational processes and driving automation initiatives.
• Change management experience leading major process, system, or organizational changes.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across organizational levels.
• FINRA Series 65 required or must obtain within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and lead a team of operations representatives handling mutual fund account processing and servicing.
• Drive performance to meet efficiency, accuracy, and quality targets.
• Monitor team output to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies, escalating risks as needed.
• Maintain visibility into workload and productivity, adjusting resources as needed.
• Conduct regular team meetings and 1-on-1s to support performance and development.
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives with Tech and Data teams.
• Document and maintain operational processes, closing gaps proactively.
• Manage employee performance, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Own escalations and issues, resolving them with appropriate urgency.
• Engage stakeholders before implementing changes and assess cross-functional impact.
• Partner with internal teams (Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Technology) and external vendors to support initiatives.
• Support new product/process implementations as assigned.
