Job summary

The Operations Manager at First Presbyterian Church provides day-to-day leadership for facilities, security, safety, and fleet operations across the organization. You will supervise three staff and coordinate vendors, contractors, and security personnel to keep buildings and grounds safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in facilities management, operations, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in operations, facilities, security, safety, or related areas.
• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience with nonprofit or church operations preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet vehicle-insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations, maintenance, grounds, and infrastructure.
• Direct security operations, cameras, access controls, and incident reporting.
• Develop workplace safety procedures and emergency plans.
• Manage fleet maintenance, vehicle registrations, and driver compliance.
• Lead three employees; coach, schedule, and foster teamwork and accountability.
• Manage vendor contracts, budgets, expenditures, and reporting.
