Job summary

Trinity Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC seeks a Director of Operations to provide leadership and oversight of the church’s operational, administrative, and financial life, working with the Pastor to implement systems and processes that support staff and ministries. Qualifications

• Experience in operations, nonprofit management, or business management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to build trust and align stakeholders.
• Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Accounting and bookkeeping experience.
• Comfort with technology and administrative systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational life of the church and translate priorities into effective systems and action.
• Supervise facilities staff, front-desk/administrative staff, and part-time communications position.
• Coordinate onboarding, benefits coordination, records, and church policies.
• Oversee day-to-day financial administration: bookkeeping, payables/receivables, payroll, and records.
• Provide leadership for facilities, safety, scheduling, and campus operations.
• Develop workflows and procedures to improve staff efficiency and collaboration.
• Supervise communications and ensure timely, accurate church communications.
