Job summary

OurCalling Inc. seeks a Facilities Manager to maintain our Dallas building, grounds, and equipment, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional workspace for ministry operations.

The FM will coordinate repairs, manage vendors, inspect safety systems, schedule preventive maintenance, and support fleet management, with occasional after-hours work as needed.

This role reports to the Director of Operations and requires flexible, reliable team player aligned with our gospel-centered mission.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in written and verbal form.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple vendors and service providers.
• Experience planning and overseeing maintenance projects and repairs.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance across facilities.
• Proactive problem solving in a dynamic ministry environment.
• Dependable and able to work in a changing schedule.
• Able to learn new project management software.

Responsibilities

• Research, plan, decide, observe, and evaluate facility-related activities and adjust.
• Serve as primary contact for maintenance, janitorial vendors and suppliers.
• Oversee maintenance projects, enhancements, and improvements.
• Maintain logs of repairs, maintenance, and improvements.
• Maintain routine maintenance schedule for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functional.
• Oversee janitorial services to keep facilities clean.
• Ensure fire and safety equipment is inspected and maintained.
• Ensure code compliance in MEP, HVAC-R, fire safety, buildings and grounds.
• Fleet management for OurCalling vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
