Job summary

Absolute Services in Louisville, KY seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead trade operations and build a high-performing team. You’ll oversee dispatch, payroll, fleet, and customer service, driving efficiency and compliance to deliver outstanding service.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of management in a skilled-trades setting, residential HVAC exposure, strong business sense, and a drive to mentor staff. ServiceTitan experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in skilled trades or a similar industry.
• Residential HVAC experience.
• Exceptional business and operational acumen.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to hold teams to meet and exceed goals.
• Visionary leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all trade activities and ensure smooth, efficient operations.
• Drive operational performance and ensure compliance with policies.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and development of a high-performing team.
• Hold the team accountable to company goals and continuous improvement.
• Address customer requests with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Create a safe, organized, and efficient work environment for all staff.
• Manage dispatch operations to keep schedules on track and customers informed.
• Oversee bookkeeping, A/P, A/R, and payroll processes.
• Maintain fleet readiness and vehicle maintenance.
