Job summary

United Rentals in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the delivery of quality service, maximize branch productivity, and ensure safety and policy compliance. You will work with the Branch Manager to coordinate operations and drive world-class customer service.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve financial objectives and business initiatives. A strong customer focus and proficiency in MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry.
• Strong leadership and motivation abilities.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and written/verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Manage performance of direct staff including Inside Sales Reps and Drivers.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote safety culture and accountability through leadership and communication.
