Amazon.com Services LLC in Goodyear, AZ is hiring an Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly staff. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time customer deliveries while using data-driven decisions to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities include mentoring large teams, coordinating cross-functional plans with Safety, Engineering, and HR, and delivering scalable process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Experience managing a team of 2+ salaried employees and 70+ indirect employees.
• Experience scoping, leading, and implementing process improvements through Lean/Six Sigma.
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
• Work in variable temperatures and weather at delivery stations.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable.
