Job summary

Amazon in Ohio (Etna Township) is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of salaried and hourly staff, driving safety, quality, attendance, and performance through data-driven decisions. You will mentor a large workforce, manage cross-functional collaboration, and oversee productivity improvements while ensuring on-time delivery to customers.

The role requires 3+ years in people management, a bachelor's degree or equivalent (or 2+ years of Amazon experience) and a flexible schedule

Qualifications

3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
Work in a variable temperature environment including outside loading areas.
