Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of leadership experience with budget and reporting responsibility.
• General Manager experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven ability to manage and develop teams while driving results.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for delivering outstanding service and building lasting relationships
• Familiarity with hiring, talent development, and performance management
• Ability to think on your feet, make sound decisions, and motivate a team under pressure
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Comfortable navigating new platforms
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the market
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and navigate stairs
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working around unpleasant odors when needed

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor Area Leaders to ensure high performance
• Drive engagement, accountability, productivity, and service delivery
• Analyze data and insights to improve processes and operational excellence
• Develop budgets, monitor expenses, and report on financial performance
• Forecast staffing needs and partner with Recruiting to maintain team coverage
• Lead training efforts and enforce systems, safety, and service standards
• Collaborate with Sales and Account Executives to ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues
• Identify opportunities to expand services and grow client relationships
• Conduct site visits to uphold service quality and safety standards
• Step in to ensure seamless service continuity
• Oversee vehicle compliance, maintenance, and warehouse inventory
• Identify future leaders and support professional growth
• Work with Area Leaders and frontline teams, including occasional trash pickup
• Lead assigned special projects from start to finish
• Travel frequently within the assigned market and work outside standard hours as needed
