Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Bloomington, IL is seeking an Operations Manager to lead construction and building materials operations, coordinating field installers and service techs, scheduling projects, and driving revenue growth through efficient operations and strong customer service.

You will manage daily operations, train staff, review metrics, and work with sales to prepare quotes and bids. Occasional travel to job sites may be required. The role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience managing field and office personnel, sales, projects, budgets and financials, ordering materials, and interfacing with customers and sales staff.
• Willing to train up to three times in first 90 days in St. Louis, MO.
• Proficient with Windows-based programs and ERP/CRM systems.
• Analytical skills to evaluate operational data and metrics and assess impact of changes.
• Ability for technical applications and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee/job scheduling and troubleshooting.
• Manage day-to-day operations with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand and drive procedures, customer satisfaction, profitability and return on sales.
• Call on customers for sales opportunities and prepare bids and quotes.
• Optimize routing, scheduling and department capacity while maintaining high customer service.
• Lead safety and department meetings and financial reviews.
