Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Bloomington, IL seeks an Operations Manager to oversee field installers and service techs, coordinate scheduling, and drive revenue growth for doors, docking and related products. The role focuses on efficiency, staff development, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage daily operations, balance budgets, prepare bids, and pursue new business while maintaining safety and quality standards. Some travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience managing field and office personnel, sales, projects, budgets and financials.
• Willing to train up to three (3) different times during first 90-days in St. Louis, MO.
• Proficient with Windows based programs and ERP/CRM systems.
• Analytical skills to evaluate operational data, processes, financial results and metrics.
• Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems.
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license required.
• Background checks and drug screen required in advance of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee/job scheduling and troubleshooting.
• Manage day-to-day operations with urgency in a fast-paced culture.
• Understand operational and sales procedures, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Call on customers for sales opportunities and prepare bids and quotes.
• Maximize department capacity with proper routing, schedules, and service.
• Lead safety meetings and monthly department financial reviews.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing staff with regular coaching.
• Communicate with customers to ensure high-quality service; travel to sites as needed.
