Job summary

Yates Company, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the short- and long-term performance of the company across field installation, project management, and engineering. You will report to the Leadership Team and drive margins, revenue and customer satisfaction in a BAS/HVAC-focused contracting environment.

The role prioritizes budgeting, staffing, safety, and staff development with direct responsibility for field crews and the office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent with experience in HVAC/temperature control operations; technical degree preferred.
• 3+ years of management/project management experience and 5 years in a role with daily customer contact and scheduling.
• Experience interacting with trades and construction project channels.

Responsibilities

• Meet department margin, revenue and operating income; help develop annual budgets.
• Maintain manpower projections and assist HR in recruitment.
• Develop department structure to deliver excellent customer service and profitability.
• Collaborate with PMs to assess staff skills and create growth plans.
• Establish quality standards and measure performance with audits and reviews.
