Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily store operations and leadership development. This entry-level management role offers hands-on learning of judgment and discretion in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise non-management staff, coach shifts, ensure brand standards, manage cash, and address customer needs to build lasting relationships. A proactive leader with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives clearly.
• Supervise day-to-day operations of non-management staff, assign work, coach, and develop shifts supervisors.
• Fill in for the general manager as needed.
• Motivate staff and maintain performance and morale during busy or challenging times.
• Ensure brand standards, policies, and procedures are followed, and relationships with brand/landlord/labor are managed.
