Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Service Center Supervisor to assist the Director with daily operations of the Service Center and Thrift Store in Georgia. You will lead staff and volunteers, manage donations, and help ensure efficient service delivery to clients.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, pricing merchandise, handling deposits in the director’s absence, and maintaining records with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in social service work with supervisory duties.
• Ability to manage donations, pricing, and thrift store operations.
• Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Center Director in planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising day-to-day operation of the Salvation Army Service Center and Thrift Store.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; conduct evaluations and training; ensure policies are followed.
• Receive, process, and rotate donations; price merchandise to maximize sales; supervise deposits when director is absent.
• Maintain client conferrals and case history files, ensuring confidentiality and referrals as needed.
• Coordinate facility cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and contractor repairs as needed.
