Job summary

The Salvation Army A Georgia Corp in Ft Walton Beach, FL is seeking a full-time Thrift Store Supervisor to manage daily operations, supervise volunteers, train staff, and maintain neat displays and store security.

You will assist customers, donate processing, and generate tax receipts while ensuring a friendly shopping experience. Requires a high school diploma and 3 years retail supervisory experience; valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in a retail store with at least one year in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors day-to-day operations of the Thrift Store; leads volunteers and staff; trains and instructs staff in policies and procedures.
• Plans, schedules, assigns, and evaluates work of Store Clerks and Sorting Room staff; ensures compliance with store policies and procedures; resolves operational problems.
