Job summary

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is seeking an Operations Manager to lead branch performance with a focus on safety, service, and results. You will guide daily operations, support your team, and drive business success in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this hands-on leadership role requires driving efficiency, managing budgets, and ensuring high-quality delivery of products and services to customers while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Experience in the building materials industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate overall operations to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Plan, develop, and implement operational policies across warehousing, transportation, and customer service.
• Design and manage dispatch systems to improve logistics and workflow.
• Implement operational changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and manage operating budgets for warehouse, manufacturing, and transportation functions.
