Advancia Government Services LLC is seeking an Operations Manager in Harrisonburg, VA to lead and optimize contract performance. The role focuses on preventing issues, implementing best practices, and maintaining high-quality service while reliably using resources.

The successful candidate will oversee supervisors and clerks, coordinate daily workloads, and ensure regulatory and contract standards are met. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Public trust position requiring ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and obtain security clearance.
• 3 years of recent operations/project management experience in a similar setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or PMP certification in lieu of degree.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification required or obtainable within 180 days of award.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities with supervisors and leadership.
• Present oral briefings to government oversight personnel.
• Prepare SOPs and revisions with strong writing skills.
• Mentor supervisors and clerks; manage staffing via weekly meetings.
• Assist QC with quality control and implement corrective actions.
• Organize monthly management team meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Respond to government inquiries promptly and maintain high morale.
