Job summary

Advancia Government Services LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in Harrisonburg, VA to lead, coordinate, and optimize contract-related activities. The role emphasizes proactive issue prevention, process improvements, and ensuring high-quality performance in a demanding environment.

The candidate will supervise supervisors and clerks, develop SOPs, present briefings to government oversight, and mentor staff while maintaining safety and morale.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and obtain a federal public trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in program management, business, public administration or related field; PMP may substitute.
• Six Sigma Green Belt within 180 days of contract award; strong MS Office skills required.
• Minimum three years of recent operations/site/production management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, and briefing skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of supervisors and clerks to maximize efficiency.
• Present oral briefings to Government oversight personnel.
• Draft and revise SOPs and related documentation.
• Coordinate project activities and organize the daily workload to meet contractual standards.
• Identify staffing shortfalls and communicate with leadership via weekly meetings.
• Mentor staff and participate in quality control activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain positive morale.
