Aurora in Texas is seeking an Operations Manager based in Laredo to lead a multidisciplinary team in fleet operations, driving initiatives around efficiency, safety, and morale. You will collaborate with Vehicle Operations and stakeholders, build a high-performing team, and model an empathetic leadership style while ensuring adherence to Aurora policies.

The base salary range is $112,500–$133,500 per year, with benefits. The role requires travel up to 30% and in-office presence 3–5 days weekly.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused with the ability to lead by example.
• Ability to make command decisions, motivate teams, and communicate clearly.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment.
• Valid US driver’s license and clean driving history, verified by an MVR check.
• Willingness to travel up to one month at a time, up to 30% of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of managers and/or operators.
• Establish an empathetic safety culture for all in-vehicle teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Vehicle Operations and other stakeholders.
• Develop and drive your team by building on individual strengths and opportunities for growth.
• Follow all Aurora policies and adhere to the Vehicle Operations Manual.
• Manage productivity and efficiency with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Communicate Aurora initiatives clearly to ensure alignment at all levels.
• Act as POC for key Aurora initiatives related to Vehicle Operations.
• Interact with the public as an ambassador for Aurora.
