Blue Signal Search is seeking an Operations Manager to drive day-to-day execution in a growing fire and life safety organization. The role offers broad ownership, close work with field teams and leadership, and accountability for service delivery and process discipline.

The ideal candidate has direct commercial fire alarm or life safety operations experience, with strong capabilities in field coordination, documentation, and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Direct fire alarm or life safety operations experience required.
• Experience across dispatch, parts coordination, customer comms, and field closeout.
• Understand how work moves from request to completion.
• Ability to prioritize and escalate when needed.
• Strong communication with field techs, customers, inspectors, and leadership.
• Familiarity with fire life safety documentation, permitting, inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations with broad influence over service delivery.
• Coordinate field activity and ensure timely response to urgent calls.
• Guide customers on timing, updates, and next steps.
• Review field docs and identify missing details or deficiencies.
• Build estimates with leadership on scope and commercial decisions.
• Process permit packages and coordinate inspections with authorities.
• Maintain visibility into deadlines and admin obligations.
• Establish records and workflows to improve accountability as the operation grows.
