Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager who acts as a positive change agent, driving customer satisfaction while leading a branch team including engineering, project execution, service, and back-office staff.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team in the fire and life safety industry.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L and budgeting knowledge.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and project management for the division.
• Supervise, train, and develop branch associates including designers, project managers, technicians, project coordinators, supervisors, dispatchers, and administrative staff.
• Oversee scheduling, execution, billing, and completion of install, service, warranty, and emergency jobs.
• Develop a budget and meet revenue and gross margin targets.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to execute plans and processes.
• Deliver projects within budget and perform monthly cost and WIP analyses.
• Report monthly financial performance to management and take corrective action as needed.
• Manage inventory and company service vehicles for efficient asset management.
• Build a high-performance culture with performance reviews and development initiatives.
• Lead manpower planning and allocation; ensure customer satisfaction and cash collections.
• Collaborate with sales to support branch growth and profitability.
