Job summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, seeks an Assistant Facility Manager for the Greater Columbus Convention Center. You will assist the Facility Manager, supervise the engineering team, coordinate PM programs, and ensure safe, compliant operation of all building systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise the Engineering Department staff.
• Aptitude for coordinating with multiple stakeholers and departments.
• Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Willingness to work irregular hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Manager with hiring, supervision and training of staff.
• Supervise full-time facility engineering staff and coordinate shifts.
• Develop and maintain maintenance programs and PM schedules.
• Oversee safety, compliance with OSHA/NFPA codes, and incident response.
• Manage vendor relations, quotes, parts procurement, and repairs.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, energy usage, and reports.
